Description:
At 237 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Beach Haven
West, or 21 miles south of Toms River, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Barnegat, Tuckerton, Surf City, Bamber Lake, Brookville, Warren
Grove, Beach Haven West, Holiday City-Berkeley, Holiday City South,
Ocean Acres, Manahawkin, Waretown, and Holiday Heights.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
