Description:
At 558 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Mullica Hill,
or 11 miles south of Gloucester City, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Glassboro, Pitman, Clayton, Woodstown, Swedesboro, Franklinville,
Mullica Hill, Turnersville, and Wenonah.
This includes New Jersey Turnpike near exit 2.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
