* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, including the following areas, Western Bergen and Western Passaic and southeast New York, including the following areas, Northern Westchester, Orange, Putnam and Rockland. * WHEN...Until 6 AM EDT early this morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A slow moving low pressure system is bringing periods of showers and thunderstorms to the area early this morning. Some areas have already received as much as 3 to 5 inches, and additional rainfall of up to an inch could lead to flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
