* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast New Jersey, including the following counties, Bergen, Essex and Passaic. * WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 315 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Paterson, Passaic, Wayne, Hackensack, Bergenfield, Paramus, Ridgewood, Ramsey, Ridgefield, Fort Lee, Englewood, Hawthorne, Oradell, Fairfield, Norwood, Teterboro, Clifton, Teaneck, Fair Lawn and Garfield. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
