* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of western Nevada, including the following county, Mineral. * WHEN...Until 800 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 554 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch may occur over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Junction U.S 95 And NV 360 (Tonopah Junction). - Heavy rain will also affect portions of Highway 95 near and south of Mina through early this evening. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
