Description:
At 851 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 4 miles east of Firth to 2 miles south of Adams to 2
miles south of Filley, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...At 849 PM, a public mesonet station reported winds gusting
to 58 mph 3 miles NW of Adams.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Tecumseh, Adams, Sterling, Cook, Filley, Elk Creek, Lewiston,
Virginia, Crab Orchard, Holmesville, Steinauer, St Mary, Rockford
State Recreation Area, Rockford, and Vesta.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for southeastern
Nebraska.
