Description:
At 912 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 miles southwest of Oconto to Willow Island to near
Moorefield, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Lexington, Cozad, Gothenburg, Elwood, Smithfield, Willow Island,
Johnson Lake, and Farnam.
This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 209 and 245.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
