At 603 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lodgepole, or near Chappell, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Chappell, Oshkosh, Mount Vernon, and Intersection of Highway 27 and 9 Mile Road. This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 78 and 96.
