* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Franklin County in south central Nebraska...
Southeastern Harlan County in south central Nebraska...
* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 700 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Ash Creek, Eureka Creek, Turkey Creek, Big Cottonwood Creek,
Rebecca Creek, Cook Creek, Methodist Creek, Center Creek, Rope
Creek, Crow Creek, Little Cottonwood Creek and Harlan County Lake
Area. In and around Republican City is the most likely place to
experience minor flooding. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5
inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will
result in minor flooding.

Alma, Republican City, Naponee, Huntley and Harlan County Dam.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
