Description:
At 750 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 13 miles southwest of Stanford to 22 miles south of
Geyser to 25 miles southwest of Hobson, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Stanford, Windham, Moccasin, Ackley Lake State Park, Sapphire
Village, Utica, and Benchland.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
