Description:
At 713 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest of
Columbus, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Expect strong winds to
impact travel along Interstate 90 near Reed Point and
Columbus.
Locations impacted include...
Columbus and Reed Point.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds.
Wind damage with this storm may occur before any rain or lightning.
