At 1037 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from 13 miles north of Shepherd to 19 miles southeast of Lockwood, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hardin, Ballantine, Worden and Pompeys Pillar. This does not include the City of Billings.
