Description:
At 115 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles west of Divide, or 22 miles southwest of Butte, moving
northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Butte, Silver Bow, Walkerville, Divide, Nissler, Newcomb and
Janney.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
