Description:
At 521 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 10 miles northwest of Shepherd to 15
miles south of Lockwood, or extending from 17 miles north of Billings
to 16 miles southeast of Billings, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Billings, Huntley, Shepherd, Lockwood, Billings Heights, Worden and
Ballantine.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
