Description:
At 109 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms over Calico, or 5 miles northwest of Pine Ridge, moving
east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pine Ridge, Oglala, Manderson, Number 4, Calico, South Lakeside,
Loneman, Wolf Creek Housing, Prairie Winds Casino, Slim Buttes
Housing, Slim Butte and southwestern Pine Ridge Reservation.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
