Sac River near Caplinger Mills affecting Cedar County.
Spring River at Carthage affecting Jasper County.
Spring River above Baxter Springs affecting Cherokee County.
Spring River near Waco affecting Jasper County.
For the Little Osage River...including Fulton, Horton...Minor
flooding is forecast.
For the Spring River...including Carthage, Waco, Baxter Springs...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Sac River near Caplinger Mills.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, flood waters affect low lying areas near
the river including farmland along Highway N and between Highway W
and Caplinger Mills. Cedar Creek...a tributary of the Sac River
backwaters and floods portions of Highway 39 and south of Cedar
Springs.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this afternoon to a crest of 20.0 feet just after midnight
tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
20.1 feet on 06/10/2008.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
