Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central Missouri, including the following
county, Benton.
* WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 653 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen.
- This includes the following low water crossings...
Archer Creek at Highway WW, Turkey Creek at Jackman Avenue,
Big Buffalo Creek at Highway WW, Knobby Creek at Highway DD
and Deer Creek at Highway V.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hastain, Lakeview Heights, Edmonson, Zora, Edwards, Knobby
and Lake of The Ozarks.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
