rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northeastern Saint Louis County in east central Missouri...
Saint Louis City in east central Missouri...
* WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other
areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1258 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
St. Louis, Florissant, University City, Webster Groves, Ferguson,
Clayton, Jennings, Bellefontaine Neighbors, Berkeley, Richmond
Heights, Brentwood, Maplewood, Black Jack, St. John, Shrewsbury
and Dellwood.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
