Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following
counties, Dallas, Greene, Polk and Webster.
* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 414 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- This includes the following low water crossings...
Givins Branch at Highway W, Little Pomme De Terre River at
Highway CC, Niangua River at Highway Y, Sims Branch at
Highway CC, Cabin Creek at Cabin Creek Road and Opposum Creek
at Bannon Road.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Fair Grove, Pleasant Hope, Morrisville, Olive, March,
Elkland, Charity, Foose and Brighton.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
