...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Mississippi...
Biloxi River Near Lyman affecting Harrison County.
For the Biloxi River...including Lyman...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.
* WHERE...Biloxi River near Lyman.
* WHEN...Until Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Flood of Record occurred on May 10, 1995.
Major flooding will occur along the river. Several bridges and
roads may be washed out. Evacuation of Biloxi River Estates,
Retreat Village, Oakridge Manor, Rolling Acres, and Riverland
Village is strongly recommended. Sections of MS Highway 605 will be
impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 19.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.0 feet
late this morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.2
feet on 08/30/2012.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
