...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Mississippi...
Wolf River Above Gulfport affecting Harrison County.
For the Jourdan River...including Kiln/Bay St. Louis...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
For the Wolf River...including Gulfport...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
For the Biloxi River...including Lyman...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
For the Tchoutacabouffa River...including D'Iberville...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Jourdan River near Kiln/Bay St. Louis.
* WHEN...Until late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, The Jourdan River Steamer restaurant will
flood. Drainage ditches along Mississippi Highway 43 will be
running full and near the shoulder of the road at the bridge
approach. Water will cover most of the Jourdan River Steamer
property and residential property on the south bank.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 7.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 7:45 PM CDT Thursday was 7.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river will oscillate above flood stage with a
maximum value of 9.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will fall below
flood stage late tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.5
feet on 08/31/2021.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
