FFWMOB The National Weather Service in Mobile has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... George County in southeastern Mississippi... Southeastern Stone County in southeastern Mississippi... * Until 1100 PM CDT. * At 925 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that produced excessive rainfall across the warned area. Between 8 and 10 inches of rain have fallen and has recently become to an end. Significant flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected in the near term. Many streams and creeks are likely well out of their banks and several roads may have deep fast moving water flowing across them. Do not drive into areas where water covers the roadway as some roads may be washed out beneath the water of unknown depths. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lucedale, McHenry, Dale, Evanston, Agricola, Vaughn, Movella, Ramsey Springs and Shipman.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
