Description:
At 533 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Garlandville, or 9 miles southeast of Newton, moving south at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pachuta, Barnett, Garlandville, Rose Hill, Paulding, and Orange.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
east central Mississippi.
