At 452 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Birch Lake, or
9 miles south of Ely, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Public report of trees down near Embarrass. Radar indicated
large hail.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
