At 945 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over North Higgins Lake, or 8 miles west of Roscommon, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Roscommon, St. Helen, Higgins Lake, North Higgins Lake, Clear Lake, Lake St. Helen, South Higgins Lake, and Foster Township.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
