Description:
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central and western Massachusetts, including
the following counties, in central Massachusetts, Worcester. In
western Massachusetts, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire.
* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 456 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Chicopee, Amherst, Northampton, Greenfield, Orange,
Deerfield, Ludlow, South Hadley, Belchertown, Palmer, Athol,
Ware, Montague, Granby, Barre, Hadley, Warren, West
Brookfield, Sunderland and Brimfield.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
