Description:
At 405 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast of
White Cap Mountain, or 18 miles north of Brownville Junction, moving
northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Millinocket, White Cap Mountain, Norcross, and Katahdin Iron Works.
This includes State Highway 11 between Norcross and Millinocket.
