* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- As the remnants of Post-Tropical Storm Arthur move north and east
towards Central Louisiana overnight into early Thursday, rainfall
associated with this decaying system could produce periods of
excessive, heavy rainfall across portions of central Louisiana.
The heaviest rainfall is forecast to remain just to the south and
east of our Flood Watch area through early Thursday evening.
However, rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches on still fairly wet
soils may bring flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas.
