* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Pointe Coupee Parish in southeastern
Louisiana...
Northwestern West Feliciana Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
* WHEN...Until 645 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It
will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work
through local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 516 PM CDT, the public reported water approaching homes near
Simmesport. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Between 6 and 13 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lettsworth.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
