For the Tickfaw River...including Liverpool, Holden, Killian, Montpelier...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tickfaw River at Liverpool. * WHEN...From early this morning to Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Pastures and crop land adjacent to the river will flood. Rural areas near the river will be threatened with flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 9.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:15 AM CDT Wednesday was 9.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Friday morning. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.5 feet on 02/17/1982. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
