Description:
At 245 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles south of Grosse Tete, or 12 miles west of Plaquemine, moving
southwest at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Plaquemine, Port Allen, Addis, Brusly, Rosedale, Grosse Tete, Ramah
and Bayou Sorrel.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
