Description:
At 727 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Luling, or 7 miles southeast of Hahnville, moving southwest at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Harahan, Luling, Boutte, Bayou Gauche, Paradis, Ama, St. Rose,
Destrehan, Waggaman, Des Allemands and River Ridge.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
