At 538 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Abita Springs, or near Mandeville, moving west at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Mandeville, Covington, Abita Springs, Madisonville, Folsom and
Lacombe.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
