Description:
At 326 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Montpelier, or 10 miles south of Greensburg, moving southwest at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Amite, Walker, Amite City, Livingston, Independence, Roseland,
Montpelier and Tickfaw.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
