At 410 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Kenner, moving southwest at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Kenner, Hahnville, Laplace, Reserve, Killona, Norco, Montz, Edgard,
Luling, Boutte, Destrehan, Taft, New Sarpy, St. Rose, Ama, Paradis,
and Bayou Gauche.
This includes the following Interstates...
Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 207 and 223.
Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 3.
Interstate 310 between mile markers 1 and 11.
