Description:
At 356 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Jennings, moving southwest at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Jennings, Lake Arthur, Mermentau, Klondike, Thornwell, Lowry, and
Roanoke.
This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 60 and
66.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
