Lincoln County in central West Virginia...
Logan County in southern West Virginia...
Southern Wayne County in western West Virginia...
Northwestern Boone County in central West Virginia...
* Until 800 AM EDT.
* At 724 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles east of Hode to Paintsville, moving
southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Williamson, Madison, Louisa, Logan, Blaine, Chapmanville, Man, Fort
Gay, Delbarton, Ranger, Mount Gay-Shamrock, Harts, Martha, Gill,
Mallory, Ulysses, Chief Logan State Park, East Lynn Lake, Charley,
and Julian.
This includes Route 119 between mile markers 1 and 60.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM EDT for northeastern
Kentucky...and central, southern and western West Virginia.
