Description:
At 704 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles northeast of Brookville to 6 miles east of
Batesville to 11 miles northeast of North Vernon, moving southeast at
85 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Emergency management.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Bath, Pikeville, Jenkins, Whitesburg, Elkhorn City, Wheelwright,
Fleming-Neon, Matewan, Forest Hills, Jamboree, Colly, Garden Village,
Nealy, Sergent, Ivan, Biggs, Adamson, Southdown, Canada, and
Majestic.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
