* At 445 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Washington to 7 miles southeast of Cynthiana to near
Lawrenceburg, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM EDT for southeastern
and east central Kentucky.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
