Description:
At 354 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Barnyard, or 7 miles northeast of Barbourville, moving southeast at
10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pineville, Wallsend, Barnyard, Salt Gum, Hinkle, Field, Straight
Creek, Blanche, Mills, Cary, Fourmile, Rella, Clear Creek Springs,
Wasioto, Dewitt, Yeager, Flat Lick, Himyar, Walker, and Scalf.
THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
U.S. Highway 25 East in Bell County between mile markers 12 and 18.
U.S. Highway 25 East in Knox County between mile markers 1 and 8.
