Description:
At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Knowlton, or near Stanton. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Stanton, Pitts, Fitchburg, Cobhill, Vaughns Mill, Hardwick, Cottage
Furnace, Lombard, Furnace, Knowlton, and Rogers Chapel.
THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 19
and 22.
