Description:
At 844 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fixer, or 7 miles north of Beattyville, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Beattyville, Booneville, Fincastle, Turin, Pilot, Torrent, White Ash,
Leeco, Pinnacle, Fillmore, Grass, Chestnut Gap, Copebranch, Patsey,
Scoville, Ida May, Lerose, War Creek, Vada, and Pitts.
Instruction:
