At 205 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Rosspoint, or near Harlan, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Harlan, Loyall, Evarts, Clovertown, Bobs Creek, Bledsoe, Black Bottom, Dizney, Chevrolet, Sunshine, Louellen, Coxton, Short Town, Kenvir, Darkmont, Highsplint, Elcomb, Nolansburg, White Star, and Shields.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for southeastern Kentucky.
