Description:
At 758 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles south of Muscotah to near Ozawkie, moving
northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Public. At 754 PM CDT, a personal weather station measured
a wind gust of 61 MPH near Holton.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Valley Falls, Oskaloosa, Meriden, Ozawkie, Nortonville, and
Winchester.
Instruction:
Prepare immediately for damaging winds. People outside should move
to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.
