Description:
At 839 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Casey to near Orient to 4 miles southeast of
Corning, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Creston, Winterset, Adel, Greenfield, Corning, Stuart, Earlham,
Lenox, De Soto, Green Valley Lake, Lake Icaria, Anita, Afton,
Redfield, Adair, Fontanelle, Dexter, Casey, Orient, and Diamondhead
Lake.
This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 74 and 109.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for central,
south central, southwestern and west central Iowa.

building.
