Description:
At 542 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Little Rock to near Hull to 6 miles south of Union
Grove State Park, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 525 PM CDT, a trained weather
spotter reported a 5.50 inch tree branch down in Rock
Valley, Iowa.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Sioux Center, Orange City, Sheldon, Sibley, Hawarden, Akron,
Boyden, Ireton, Little Rock, and Ashton around 545 PM CDT.
Alton, Hospers, and Craig around 550 PM CDT.
Sanborn, Ocheyedan, Melvin, Archer, and Struble around 555 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Granville, Harris and Le Mars.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or
lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.
