Description:
At 540 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northeast of Newport to near Vermilion, moving
southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Terre Haute, Brazil, Clinton, Rockville, Newport, Fairview Park,
Seelyville, Montezuma, Knightsville, Rosedale, Harmony, Dana,
Staunton, Kingman, Waveland, Carbon, Universal, Russellville, Mecca,
and Bloomingdale.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 19 and 22.
