Description:
At 706 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Payne to near Monroeville to 6 miles north of Decatur,
moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Wayne, New Haven, Monroeville, Middletown, Dixon, Nine Mile,
Edgerton In Allen County, Hessen Cassel, Zulu, Maples, Hoagland,
Tillman, Rolling Hills, and Townley.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 469 near mile marker 6, and between mile markers 9 and
23.
Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 298 and 310.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
