* Until 845 PM EDT.
* At 750 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Vermilion
Regional Airport, or 10 miles northeast of Danville, moving south
at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Covington, Veedersburg, Cayuga, West Lebanon, Kingman, Perrysville,
State Line City, Wallace, Pence, Foster, Yeddo, Gessie, and Lodi.
This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 1 and 16.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
