...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... White River at Elliston. White River at Edwardsport. White River at Newberry. White River at Petersburg. .Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 4 inches across much of the area is bringing minor lowland flooding to middle and lower portions of the White River basin. The White should crest at Elliston Saturday morning and at Petersburg by Monday morning. Flooding may be lengthened or redevelop early in the week from moderate to heavy rainfall that is expected Sunday into Monday which is not included in the current forecasts. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Petersburg. * WHEN...From late Friday night to Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Lowland flooding begins to flood several Pike County roads. Many of the following county roads begin to flood around this level...east of SR 57 include CR 750N...CR 600N and CR 1000E. Pike county road subject to flooding west of SR 57 include...CR 250 W...CR 400W...CR 675N...CR 700 N...CR 1000w...CR 900W...CR 700W and CR 775W. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM EDT Thursday /8:30 PM CDT Thursday/ the stage was 11.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Saturday morning to a crest of 18.2 feet Sunday morning.
